Protect your valuable factory A/C system with this high/low pressure switch kit. The harness has a pre-molded connector specifically designed to connect to the switch and is then spliced into the wire that leads to the compressor clutch.
How does it work? When system pressure drops below 28psi, OR exceeds 380psi, on the systems high side, power is cut off to the compressor. This prevents damage to the system components, such as the compressor and hoses and the extensive labor that goes into flushing the system out after major compressor failures.
If your air conditioning system is currently down, or if you are planning maintenance in the near future, it is HIGHLY recommended that you install this piece.
Fits high side, o-ring style pressure switch ports. Measurement on the switch, 3/8" - 24 Male
Will also install directly in our 12-1001, 12-300 and 12-301 driers.
