62-74* GM Replacement Expansion Valve

This valve attaches to the evaporator inlet (bottom) fitting on the engine side of the firewall. NOTE 1 - Valve dimensions are slightly different, so stock valve clamps will not fit the same. See for availability of a reconditioned original (our part #15-208) as possible replacement or we may be able to recondition your original. Compatible with R12 & 134a refrigerants.

* Some 1973 and early 1974 vehicles used a VIR-Assembly. This expansion valve WILL NOT fit those vehicles. Please verify which system you have before purchasing.
