15-52 A/C BILLET ALUMINUM POA ELIMINATOR VALVE

Premium Billet Aluminum POA Valve Eliminator with the look of the original Frigidaire style POA valve. Looks and installs like the original, using all of the original mounting clamps & brackets.
SKU: 15-403B
$243.00

Original Air's Premium Billet Aluminun POA Valve Eliminator is CNC Machined and is as close as it gets to the look of a brand new Frigidaire style POA valve, but without the mechanical drawbacks of the original.

This valve is designed to replace the original POA valve, converting the air-conditioning system from a pressure by-pass system, to a clutch cycling system.

The purpose of the POA valve is to prevent the evaporator from freezing up, which this one does by cycling the compressor off when the included thermostat indicates the evaporator is getting too cold (same operation as some modern vehicles).

It mounts to the outlet (top) fitting of the evaporator, utilizing all original clamps and brackets.

Will work with both R12 and 134a refrigerants. Ideally recommended for cars where the compressor has been converted to a modern compressor, but will work with the original compressors as well.

For GM Models: Not for use on early 1965 models that used a Suction Throttling Valve (STV) or late 1974 models equipped with a VIR.

For Ford/Mercury Models: If your valve has two small lines attached to the sides, this valve will work. If your valve has only one small line, you can still use this valve, but a GM Expansion Valve must be purchased as well.
